toorno.com

Hello, world

The first article on toorno.com — why this site exists and what to expect here.

  • meta

Every site needs a first post. This is mine.

I built toorno.com as a single hub for the things I make and the things I think about — articles like this one, shorter thoughts, and projects that range from small experiments to standalone apps living on their own subdomains.

Why a personal site

There’s something clarifying about owning the place your writing lives. No algorithm deciding who sees it, no platform that might disappear next year. Just files in a repo and a domain I control.

What to expect

  • Articles — polished, long-form pieces. Worth the read.
  • Thoughts — quick, informal notes. Lower stakes, higher frequency.
  • Projects — interactive experiments and the occasional minigame.

The whole thing is built to grow. Adding a new article is creating a file; no code changes, no deploy ritual. That constraint keeps the friction low enough that I’ll actually write.

More soon.
